Venue – Ipswich & District Indoor Bowling Club 136 Rushmere Road, Ipswich, Suffolk, IP4 4JU
Timing – time for setting up your equipment will be agreed when booking your talk
Talk – we aim for talks to start at 14.00 and last for around 30-40 minutes including time for questions. We like to give a vote of thanks to the speaker at the end of the talk, and finish the meeting at 14.45 as many members have transport arranged at this time.
Equipment – speakers are expected to provide their own equipment (eg laptop, digital projector, extension lead). However, the owners of the venue are able to provide certain equipment if you wish. A screen, microphone and table will be available in any event’. Please take care to ensure cables are not a trip hazard.
Audience – retired gentlemen.
Dress code – our members wear a jacket and tie but this is optional for speakers.
Payment – our preference is to pay by bank transfer. Please provide the name of your bank account, the sort code and the account number.
Confirmation – arrangements for your visit will be confirmed in writing at the time of booking, and the Speaker Finder will contact you about 10 days before to check there are no outstanding queries.
